So yeaaah. You may have noticed that I have not updated you guys for 3 weeks. Yeaaap. Three whole weeks! So what was happening to me? Did I stop learning Google Ads? Did I give up? Did I fail?
NO!
I have not stopped learning Google Ads. I have not given up and I have not failed. At least not just yet.
So why have I not updated you for past 3 weeks? I will be completely honest with you. Because of work. I have been working every single day to make some money. And if I have to be completely honest with you I really did not have motivation to write another blog post.
BUT! That does not mean that I have not been learning and practicing. Hell no! I have been learning every single day. Maybe not as much as I used to when I was unemployed but I am still doing something. Is it always enough? Probably not. But even when there are days that I do not want to do anything I try to watch at least one or two videos. I try to improve every single day to be at least little bit better than I was yesterday.
So what have I done?
I do not know. 😀
I was not writing it down so I can not tell you every single thing I have done. But I can try to sum it up for you at least little bit. So as always I watched some YouTube videos. From who? From YouTubers that I have been watching since the beginning. So for example Aaron Young, Grow My Ads and Sabri Suby.
I have also purchased LinkedIn Learning. Today I have finished second course on there. And let me tell you something.
First course I have done was called: Google Ads Essential Training
– this course was very good. I have nothing bad to say about it. Everything basic was there. And even tho I am not complete beginner there were still few things that I have learned from this course. And things that I knew which were probably like 90% were still nice because repetition is the mother of wisdom.
But the second course was called: Advanced Google Ads
– I will be completely honest with you. I was little bit scared to do this course because even at the beginning of the course it was told that this course is NOT for beginners. And I was scared that I will not understand anything. But the opposite was true. I actually understood most of the things. Some of the things I had to watch like 3/4/5 times to really understand them but at the end I understood everything. And this made me really happy. Because I was not seeing any progress really. But after completing this course I understood that I know much more than I thought I know. So yeah that made me pretty happy.
– I also learned A LOT of new things which I am really happy about. Watching videos and courses for beginners is nice and all but when I watch the same thing for like 15th time just by different person it can be little bit boring. So I finally learned a LOT of new things.
– I also made some notes just so I can reread the information again and again.
Practice
But not everything is positive. I made this blog to be 100% honest with you and I will be!
I tried to apply for some jobs in digital marketing and I also tried to get some freelancing projects on Upwork. But I did not succeed single time-
All of the job applications got either rejected or completely ghosted. And all of the Upwork proposals I send got ghosted as well.
Now I did not apply to many jobs and I also did not send lots of proposals. A applied to like 4 jobs and send like 7 proposals so I was not expecting anything amazing so I am ok! But it would be still nice to be able to leave my current job (which is in warehouse btw) and start working in industry I actually care about and want to build my career in.
But it is what it is. Yoyknowwhatiamsaying.
And that is all probably. I will try to update you next week but there is very small chance that I will actually do it. But I will try. However I will update you sooner or later. Bye Bye for now.
